Sam Pidoux
I am a learning advisor with the School of English and Journalism and have been at the University of Lincoln since 2007. I work in a dual role at the university – I am also a senior lecturer in the school and teach on the Journalism and Communications and Public Relations degree programmes at BA and MA level, as well as looking after a dual award degree programme in Public Relations in Malaysia.
My background in is broadcast journalism and digital communications. I am a multi-skilled journalist/PR professional and have worked for the BBC, community radio, I have written for B2B publications, food blogs and magazines. I continue to freelance in commercial radio newsrooms – my first love. I have won international awards for my journalism, something which I never thought I would accomplish.
I have a BA (Hons) in Journalism, a PGCE in Higher Education and an MA in Science in Environmental Journalism.
